Baby Storage Boxes

I made these boxes for storage for leilas cotton buds and cotton balls they were plain paper mache boxes from hobbycraft about £2 each and i decorated them with paper, ribbon and embellishments!

Pinwheels

Summer may have gone but pinwheels can still look great in the house and there especially easy to make!

Firstly take a square of paper  i used 8 x 8 but this is quite large, 6 x 6 is a good size

In pencil draw 4 lines from the corners half way to the centre of the paper

Neatly cut along these lines being careful not to cut too far, then begin folding one peice across to the centre on the same side each time

Then very carefully peirce a pin through each peice as close to the centre as you can and then through the centre of the paper

You could hammer this to some wooden dowelling or place something like a small polystyrene ball behind it to keep the pin secure.
For a even nicer effect use double sided paper or glue 2 sheets together!

Decorative Bird House

I just thought i would make a pretty bird house for my craft room,so heres how i did it-

I bought a cheap wooden bird house (Range £2.99) im sure there cheaper ones but this was the cheapest i could find!

I Then used some papermania rose garden paper and glued this to the roof and painted it blue and white

After it had dried i painted small roses on the front,these were not too detailed but if you have the patience then go ahead but i think they still look effective just as they are!

Lastly i added some die cuts with 3d foam squares and a new ribbon on top and hung it on my wall,not too bad for 20 mins work, i could have elaborated more but i like the simplicity of it!

My Craft Cupboard!

Hi i just thought id show you pictures of my craft cupboard, well its actually a room but its so small its more like a cupboard.its not perfect but its how i like it and its the only room in the house that i get  the 100% decision on what i want!sorry if the pics arent too great the lighting was really bad!

Hi everyone, im new to blogging so have a little patience whilst i get used to it all. iam going to try to get some pics put on of a few crafts ive been working on recently and also of my craft room!  i dont want anyone to come here and think that iam an amazing crafter, im a bit of a all rounder i like to have a go at evrything but im not paticularily great at everything.
